About Clary Clary Personality Origin Started as a cluster of the Rowan group of templates in an attempt to fit that template into the circumstances of Clary Fray from The Mortal Instruments, but became their own template within a few months. Which Clary was the original instance is somewhat debatable, as several which began as Seras or Clary-cluster Rowans would become part of the template. The original instance could be said to have been either Clary Fray (cæco-igni) or Sharra Arryn (wings-of-fire). Notable other instances include Clary Fray (rose-gold), Clary Morcant (let-me-in), and Belotenia Llewellyn (golden-crown). Name attractors Different clusters of Claries have different naming attractors. The strongest and most obvious attractor for f!Claries is 'Clary, Clarissa, and variations thereof', that being the name Joss/Fray usually gives her. If raised by Val a Clary will usually be named after Val's mother, Seraphina or variations thereof. If not, they will invariably have a name that is divine or otherwise glorious. Male Claries tend to be named after Luke Garroway/Graymark, either taking the name Luke itself, or taking his middle name, Lyall.
