Plot
[This will contain spoilers]
In a Daémon Fleet ship in interstellar space, Verity, Alizara, and Azure happen upon an illegal secret lab, where Kerul has captured Iarlaith. They fight, and in so doing activate a device which sends all five of them (plus their daémons) to another dimension. They land in a lake just outside of Lotus Pier. Kerul escapes in an unknown direction, and the others are taken in as guests while Jiang Cheng tries to find out why Iarlaith and Nie Huaisang look and act nearly exactly alike.

Plot
Wei Wuxian falls from the cliff at Nightless City and wakes up right as he and Jiang Cheng are supposed to leave for the Wen Indoctrination in Qishan. In Qishan, he begins diverting the timeline as much as he can. He sneaks out at night, first freeing prisoners and causing a riot in the dungeons of the Indoctrination Bureau and then assassinating Wen Zhuliu. After the assassination, he, Jiang Cheng, Lan Wangji, and Jin Zixuan are imprisoned together and tortured. Wen Qing tends to their injuries. Before the torture can continue, they are taken on the monster hunting field trip. Once they are underground in the monster's cave, Wei Wuxian feeds Wen Chao to the Xuanwu. [Thread in progress.]

Jiang Cheng peggy sues from directly after the golden core reveal (The Untamed Ep46) to the Sunshot Campaign, specifically the period in which he and Lan Wangji searched for Wei Wuxian together. Lan Wangji peggy sues to the same campsite, but instead from two years after Wei Wuxian's death. They both immediately charge to the Burial Mounds to find their boy.
