Personality

Repressed, disciplined, deeply romantic, deeply horny, extremely stubborn. Tendency for self punishment. Writes music. Externally pretty expressionless, easier to read the better someone knows them. Under the surface they are deeply emotional and passionate. Sometimes also a petty bitch. Terrified of love until they go off the deep end. Terrified of their sexuality even longer after that. Always gay.

Words are very minimal and formal. Graceful, efficient speech, when they know exactly what they want to say. When they can't find sufficient words for what they want to say, they say nothing, or say "Wei Ying", or compose beautiful pieces of music. They sometimes struggle to speak when they cannot find optimally perfect, accurate words to express complex feelings or opinions.

They really like bunnies and music. They like to dress in fancy, pretty clothes. Silk and lace and pale colors and jewelry.

Typically much more of a sub+bottom than would be MDZS novel canon compliant.

Origin

Adapted from the portrayal of Lan Wangji in The Untamed (2019). The character is originally from the Mo Dao Zu Shi novel, but characterization and appearance are primarily derived from the show.
