Aleko is the minutes-younger twin of Kiribel Ardelay, the sweela Prime. He lives with her and helps her with her duties as Prime. He is one of the few people who regularly allows Kiri to read his mind.

    Elements

Aleko is torz; with the exception of his father's torz crown, he is the only one in his family known to be torz. He has the birth blessings of flexibility, imagination, and contentment.

    Background

Aleko grew up in Swiftford with his family until his sister became Prime when they were eight. After that, he travels with her often to help her with her duties as Prime (particularly with her clothes). He is initially uncomfortable with her mindreading, but Loel Lalindar helps him move past it. When he is eighteen, five years after Loel ran away, Aleko and Kiri go to Thiyec to fetch him to be the coru prime; this is when Aleko finds out about the king's abuse of Loel and Isten. Once Loel is returned to Welce, he and Kiri leave with Sarelle Dochenza to fetch Ekador Serlast from Malinqua. He is currently back in Welce at the Lalindar estate.
