Alinaret is the Aliya from the Hex universe. She was the queen of Marlatia until her death by poisoning. Because her husband the king was sterile, her twins Edarial and Zevros were secretly fathered by Lord Nataliem Oteliar. She was unstable and irrational, and her death left the country a politically volatile mess.
