Niva is the Tony from the Circle universe. She was originally named Tony before Alicorn and Kappa did a character rearrangement.1 She lives in Discipline with her twin sister Serahila, Stormy, Sedge, Mercy, and Elyth because Serahila is unable to sleep in dormitories and Niva was unwilling to leave her.2

Magic

She is a smith and lightning ambient mage studying with the Fire temple smith Spruce.34 She and Dedicate Spruce are currently investigating a new, unnamed form of metal only smith mages can refine.5 She dislikes discussing her lightning magic, as she obtained it after being struck by lightning and the experience was "painful and scary".6 She and Mercy are learning the form of meditation that utilizes stick fighting from Mercy's teacher Dedicate Finch because they find normal meditation too boring.7
