Kerem is the Kanim from the Thalassa universe. He is the court magician in the kingdom of Loegria and confidante of Prince Cymbeline.1 He speaks a number of languages; Zoyah claims he speaks fifteen, but may be exaggerating.2 (He has tried, and failed, to get Jade to understand any of them.3) He is currently giving Prince Cymbeline magic lessons.4
