History
Phli was born and raised in Ohio, but moved to Connecticut for school. While studying sports medicine at Yale, he met Emma Miller, whom he eventually married. After the wedding, Emma decided to extricate herself from the life of a Watcher and found herself a job in the emergency room in Sunnydale; thus, they moved to California, and Phil found a job as a trainer at a local gym. They have since been drawn back into the supernatural world by Emma's chance encounter with the Slayer, Bella Swan, and Phil has been helping Bella's Watcher Tamara teach her self defense.
Abilities
Phil is aware of the supernatural world courtesy of his wife, but has no supernatural abilities of his own. As a personal trainer, he is familiar with various forms of martial arts and self defense, with an emphasis on traditional boxing.
