Sophia Swan is the Soph from Sunshine and also the Effulgence continuity equivalent of The Key

Background

Like Dawn Summers, Soph is a mystical form of energy that was transformed into a human and sent to the Slayer for protection. The Key took the form of Sophia Swan altering people's memories and even creating objects to retroactively justify her presence.

However, because Juliet is mentally protected she was immune to the memory edits and did not remember Soph being her sister. The fact that Juliet maintained contact with other dimensions partially beyond the spell's reach also caused some specific changes in that background. To justify why Soph didn't have magic that the spell could not duplicate, such as wishcoin based powers and torching when she was created she "had" a immunity to magic, such immunity did not in fact exist and it is just a limitation of the magic that created her.
