History

Background

Stormy is the daughter of Ranae and Charlie Swan, and was raised by Ranae in Firebird City after their divorce. She manifests ambient weather powers at the age of eight, when she learned to "touch the weather", but the magic checker Ranae takes her to fails to identify it.^1[1]

Winding Circle

When she is ten, Mathilde Dawnlight tracks her down and informs her she is a weather mage.^2[2] Her mother is convinced by Mathilde to send her to Winding Circle for magical training, and Charlie accepts her judgment.^3[3] On her arrival, Earth Dedicate Honey assigns her to live in Dedicate with Rook, Sedge, Mercy, Niva, Serahila, and Elyth.^4[4] She has been learning from Mathilde, since Winding Circle has no available weather mages to teach her.^5[5]
