Mathilde is the Matilda from the Circle universe.
History
Mathilde is a mage who specializes in locating ambient mages.[1] She went to Lightsbridge Academy at age eight and is now fully accredited.[2] [3] She has mentioned being close to Winding Circle's Earth Dedicate Honey; given her template attractors, it is likely Dedicate Honey is her mother figure.[4] She is the one who locates Stormy and brings her to Winding Circle for training.[5] As Winding Circle has no other weather mages, Mathilde has become Stormy's teacher.[6]
