Kidan is an Adarin from the Cycle universe. He was preceded by Aydanci Evaret and followed by Avedan.
History
Kidan was offended by slavery, and devoted himself to eradicating it.1 However, he ignored his dreams of his past life, since Lapis was already slave-free, and only finally visited the city when Beluna came in search of him.2 There was initially tension when Kidan took a while to buy Lu's explanation, because she had been having a lot of romantic dreams and became more attached earlier.3 Once they worked past his doubts they were very happy together; Lu was very pleased about her 40.5 'Adarin number'.4 Before he died, he and Lu arranged for a breeding population of parrot servants to find their next incarnations, as the gray parrots left by Aydanci Evaret and Akibel Mowar had been eaten by cats.5
