Avedan is the latest Adarin from the Cycle universe. He was preceded by Kidan and Aydanci Evaret.

History

Background

Avedan is originally from Karsvatch, where after nine years in their creche he began working on automating golem creation.^[1][2][3] At twenty three, he started having oddly vivid dreams of his past lives; he decided to look into them, not knowing they were caused by reincarnation. Identifying the city of Lapis, he traveled there to investigate.^[4]

Lapis

Upon his arrival in Lapis, he and Sylvibel Mar are mobbed by a flock of parrot servants who lead them to Charp, a golem who welcomes them "back" and gives them access to the belongings of their past selves.^[5][6] After spending time together in their cache, Sylvi and Avedan begin a relationship.^[7] They are eventually added to the Plague of Utopias, though they remain confused by and skeptical of conventional reproduction.^[8]
