Akibel is a Bell from the Cycle universe. He was preceded by Alymbel and followed by Beluna and Sylvibel Mar.

History

Despite receiving dreams of his past life as Alymbel, Kib does not initially understand their import. One day, however, Aydanci Evaret happens to pass him, and Aly's raven servant identifies Kib as "master", leading them to discover Kib's reincarnation.^[1] After some confusion over each other's sexualities- Aydanci had presumed Kib to be straight, and Kib thought a dead wife implied the same of Aydanci- Aydanci and Kib resumed their relationship.^[2] He died at seventy six from a fall down some stairs, without having found Aydanci's reincarnation Kidan yet.^[3]

Magic

Kib spent most of his life working on golem-making, particularly the creation of the golem Charp.^[4] He also used a golem chair, to compensate for his clumsiness.^[5] Before he died, he and Aydanci arranged for gray parrot servants to find their next incarnations after their death.^[6]
