Kidan is an Adarin from the Cycle universe. He was preceded by Aydanci Evaret and followed by Avedan.

History

Kidan was offended by slavery, and devoted himself to eradicating it.^[1] However, he ignored his dreams of his past life, since Lapis was already slave-free, and only finally visited the city when Beluna came in search of him.^[2] There was initially tension when Kidan took a while to buy Lu's explanation, because she had been having a lot of romantic dreams and became more attached earlier.^[3] Once they worked past his doubts they were very happy together; Lu was very pleased about her 40.5 'Adarin number'.^[4] Before he died, he and Lu arranged for a breeding population of parrot servants to find their next incarnations, as the gray parrots left by Aydanci Evaret and Akibel Mowar had been eaten by cats.^[5]
