There are two main factors that set Odette apart from other Edies. One is the fact that all the mind-altering magic she practices had some imprint on her personality; in Odette, the effects of Sympathy have thus far manifested mostly in an inclination to steelman and give people the benefit of the doubt in comparison to a baseline Edie.
