Charlie is a cop in Solaceon. He has what Bella calls "standard issue cop 'mon", a Noctowl and a Machoke, who do not have names.^[1]

Background

He used to be married to Renée and has a daughter with her, Isabella Swanna. He and Renée split up when Bella is very young, after which Bella divided her time between them.^[2]

Translations

When Charlie finds out Sherlock can talk to Pokémon, he encourages Sherlock to apply for a job with his department as a translator for Pokémon witnesses.^[3] So far Charlie has only asked for one translation from Sherlock, for a minor case involving a Geodude who witnessed some vandals spray painting, but he has expressed hope the testimony will lead to more interesting translation requests later on.^[4]
