Chelasi is the Chelsea from the Ravel universe.

History

Chelasi originally lived in a city with her boyfriend Anlon. Finding the city too overwhelming, she and Anlon moved to a small house in the countryside of Casasha, where Chelasi would ravel passing travelers into befriending them and moving in.^[1] They eventually built a household of ten, including four ravelers. One day Sharabel Swanpennon and Kayam pass by and, upon Chelasi's attempts to ravel them, kill her in self-defense.^[2]

Magic

As a raveler, Chelasi received her options as a teenaager, and chose "enamouring", the ability to manipulate people's feelings and relationships.^[3] She had the ability to both create new bonds and to remove existing ones.^[4] Her magic is known to wear off eventually, as Shara saw her performing a "booster".^[5] To Shara and Kayam's dismay, the effects of her raveling persisted beyond her death, rather than vanishing as an artificer's would.^[6]

Friends

Chelasi had raveled the following people into living with her:

• Anlon, her boyfriend, was the only one who knew what Chelasi could do. He came with her from the city to start the original house.^[7]
• Adarin Sorelas (Quilt) and Zeviana Sorelas (Kool-Aid) were on their way to find work in Casasha when they stopped at the house to rest and were raveled into staying.^[8]
• Jony is a plant raveler. Chelasi was shopping in Antaurb when she met Jony, who had just broken up with her boyfriend; Jony came to stay with them to cool off and never left.^[9]
• Kesaven is a building raveler. He was leaving Casasha for nowhere in particular, stopped for some of Jony's berries, and never left.^[9]
• A woman named Tima
• Dayree
• Quel
• Netse
