Scott is one of the professors at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy in the Lumos universe.
History
Scott was born and raised outside of Dallas, Texas, the middle child in a wizard family with three boys. When he was old enough, he attended Texarcana School of Wizardry and Witchcraft. He was in most respects a competent but unremarkable student, but demonstrated a particular talent for Transfiguration; thus, after graduation, he remained at Texarcana as their Transfigurations professor. He remained there as a teacher for a bit over a decade, at which time he, along with Tamara Reed, volunteered to transfer to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy for a few terms to help fill the teaching gap caused by the war against Voldemort. He is most notable for trying to help Emma Mason, Miranda Swan and Karen Ellery locate Genevieve O'Meara when she went missing in the Dark Forest, but upon encountering a Dementor he passed out. His ineffectiveness helped fuel the rising anti-American sentiment.
Abilities
Scott is a competent, if not spectacular, wizard. His main strengths lie in Transfiguration and navigating school bureaucracies. Despite his Transfiguration abilities he is not an Animagus and, like most American wizards, he has no Patronus. He is particularly suspectible to Dementors and their influence.
