Maurabel is an elementalist with personal affinities in shine, adamant and wood.^[1] She is in school, mostly taking healing classes, and generally works healing shifts in the hospital to make up her volunteer hours.

Elemental Interactions

She is unusual for considering elementals to be sentient beings in their own right, and treating them as such. She refuses to force elementals to help her with her magic, and "pays" them for their time in whatever she is allowed to give them, generally library access or private time in her dorm room. When she finds out how Shadow and Fire were mistreated, she help protect Shadow by allowing him time in her room, and later helps Shadow steal Fire from their master.
