Beluna is a Bell from the Cycle universe. She was preceded by Alymbel and Akibel Mowar and followed by Sylvibel Mar.

History

Beluna located Lapis from her dreams of her past lives relatively early, and upon locating her past lives' cache the golem Charp explained to her about reincarnation. She then went to find Kidan, who had not taken time from his anti-slavery project to investigate his own dreams, and explained to him what was happening.^[1] There was initially tension when Kidan took a while to buy Lu's explanation, because she had been having a lot of romantic dreams and became more attached earlier.^[2] Once they worked past his doubts they were very happy together; she was extremely pleased about her 40.5 'Adarin number'.^[3] Before she died, she and Kidan arranged for a breeding population of parrot servants to find their next incarnation, as the gray parrots left by Aydanci Evaret and Akibel Mowar had been eaten by cats.^[4]

Magic

Lu spent her life researching immortality (unsuccessfully) with the occasional side project in infrastructure.^[5] She also made herself various quadrupedal pet servants, such as a zebra, to ride on to compensate for her clumsiness.^[6] She also investigated the (dead end) project of self-programming golems.^[7]
