Zevaia is the Zevi from the Treasury universe.

History

Background

Zevaia and her twin brother Aldaras are bastards with no knowledge of their birth father.^[1] Their mother is in an asylum, and they were raised by their adopted father Vernus.^[2] They were born in the village of Ng Yen in Chung-Koet, but moved to Noregr with their father when they were eleven.^[3]

Finding the Knife

Zevaia accompanies Aldaras on a hunt for new artifacts, since Aldaras is a tracker. They are in the woods hunting when Zevaia is caught by the knife. Meanwhile, Aldaras locates the necklace and goes to show it to her, but is caught himself. Aldaras saves himself by touching the necklace, which frees him from the knife's control, but Zevaia is surrounded by other cut and Aldaras is unable to get to her. He leaves with the necklace, promising to return and save her.^[4]

Rescue

After a few days, the Dean tells Aldaras that the necklace can save the cut from the knife.^[5] Aldaras convinces a man named Sintre to join him on a rescue mission, in exchange for half the reward money.^[6] They locate the cut and free them, Zevaia included.^[7][8] They then all return to Drofnfjord, leaving the knife behind them deep in the ocean in a block of plastic cement, and Zevaia is introduced to Annabelline Swan.^[9][10]

Pealing

When the Plague of Utopias encounters them, Zevaia meets and immediately falls in necklace-induced love with Savannah Sanders, her alt from Medallion. They remain together and enjoy a typically Zevilike nonmonagmous relationship.^[11]

Magic

As one of the touched, Zevaia is:

• Protected from mental magic, granted by the necklace
  • Permanently, magically in love with Savannah Sanders (Feathers)
• Unable to feel pain, granted by the knife.
  • No loss of mental function normally caused by the knife, as the necklace's effect protects her
