Sarelle is an elay Dochenza living in Chialto who has recently become the Dochenza Prime. She is extremely talented as finding things out, and becomes more so upon becoming Prime.

Sarelle is elay who appears strongly hunti, and has a less obvious streak of sweela. Because her father was an extremely distractable sort of elay, he accidentally brought his twins home four birth blessings instead of three[2]; as a result, her blessings are clarity, vision, talent, and determination. After Auney Dochenza dies attempting to fly, Sarelle inherits the role of elay Prime. In addition to her ability to, as she puts it, "smell your soul"[3] and "taste the wind"[4], she has demonstrated the ability to throw her voice and to imitate the sounds of an orchestra when she whistles[5].
Background
Sarelle grew up in Chialto with her twin sister Tianetta Stark. She uses genealogical records to locate Ekador Serlast in Malinqua, and subsequently goes to fetch him with Kiribel Ardelay and Aleko Ardelay. Upon their return, she deduces that Loel Lalindar is the missing Prince Hector and that he likely ran away due to abuse, though neither Loel nor Kiri has confirmed her suspicions.
