Aydanci is the first known Adarin from the Cycle universe. He was followed by Kidan and then Avedan.

History

Aydanci was originally married to Alymbel, but she died in her mid-twenties from the pox.^[1] A grief-stricken Aydanci then made it his mission to eradicate pox.^[2] Once he had finished with pox, he developed vaccines for various other diseases, traveling to distribute them.^[3] On one such trip he met Akibel Mowar, and they realized from the reaction of Aly's old raven servant that Kib was a reincarnation of Alymbel.^[4] After some confusion over each other's sexualities- Aydanci had presumed Kib to be as straight as Aly, while Kib thought a dead wife implied the same of Aydanci- Aydanci and Kib resumed their relationship.^[5] Before he died, he and Kib arranged for gray parrot servants to find their next incarnations after their death.^[6]
