Shadow is a shadow elemental who was captured by the same master as Fire. He was eventually sold to Maurabel's university, where he has been helping her with dark scrying. When she found out he had been mistreated, both by his master and other students, she repaid him for his help by allowing him private time in her room to recover. He is currently helping her steal Fire back from his old master.
